Dem Rep. Raskin: Trump Administration Is ‘Using the Post Office to Try to Divide America’
‘The Post Office has always brought us together, ever since the days of Ben Franklin’
RUSH TRANSCRIPT:
RASKIN: "Well, I liked very much the way you introduced this whole thing by talking about the post office. The post office has always brought us together ever since the days of Ben Franklin, which is why in so many of the cities and towns you go to, there’s a post road or a postal road. It’s why so many of our newspapers were called the post courier express or the Washington Post. But now they’re using the post office to try to divide America. But when you talk to people at the post office, they understand this is not their role to get involved in elections by trying to define who votes and who doesn't."
