RUSH EXCERPT:

HABERMAN: "In our reporting for the book, what we found is whether it was the construction projects, whether it’s the war in Iran, whether it is his retribution campaign, whether it was sending, you know, the National Guard into various cities and how they were being received. There are people they know what’s happening in the White House, or at least they can have some external perspective, but they don’t deliver bad news to him in large doses, is how I would it. Based on our reporting, there’s always sort of a method to it’s one topic in the middle of another thing. And you know, those cabinet meetings that are public are obviously over the top, but people are very careful about what they say to him.”
