NELSON: "I agree with marc. It was absolutely energizing. You know, people often say, why do you March? Why is why is that happening again? Because we’ve done it so many times. But today wasn’t just about marching. Today was about mobilizing voters. And that’s really what came out of all of these efforts. We saw, as marc said, lots of young people, we saw old people. We saw people from every background, every, you know, capacity. People were out there in wheelchairs. There was a woman, annie pearl avery, who was a selma foot soldier, 83 years old, who came out, flew here from Alabama and came for this purpose. It just shows you how much people want change in this country. They want to exercise their right to vote. It’s the currency that we all hold in equal measure, and people are ready to spend it. And to actually really change"
