BERMAN: "All right, Delta Airlines pilot had to divert his flight and make an emergency landing because he said he needed to go to the hospital."

DELTA CAPTAIN: "This is the captain. I‘m the one that‘s ill. I‘m going to taxi the jet to the gate, and then I need to go to the hospital."
ATC: "Roger. Delta 437, you can plan to exit at Yankee two. They‘ll give you the quickest route to the gate."
DELTA CAPTAIN: "Yankee two, copy."

BERMAN: "The flight was heading from Los Angeles to Boston, diverted to Detroit. The flight landed safely and a new crew was brought on board before the flight did go to Boston. As for the pilot, his condition is unknown this morning."
