Dem Rep. Gottheimer: I Cannot Explain Ro Khanna’s Comments on Hasan Piker

GOTTHEIMER: "I cannot explain Ro’s statement. I saw that. All I can tell you is you've got a lot of my colleagues, including Hillary Scholten in Michigan and others, who have said to El-Sayed, you have to condemn this guy. Obviously, he has taken steps now to say he would not campaign with him, which obviously is a very good development, but now he has to come out and make it clear that he condemns his comments, including the most recent one where Piker said that Jewish people who support U.S.-Israel relationship, which is a key ally of the United States of America, they are bringing violence onto themselves, blaming Jewish people for actually bringing violence to hurt Jewish people, which is just ridiculous and gives you the sense of just how nuts this guy is. As far as I’m concerned, everybody should come out and condemn them. And we are seeing that, which is a good development."
