JENNINGS: "I’m going to answer all the questions."
PHILLIP: "No, just the one I asked you."
JENNINGS: "If you don't have — "
PHILLIP: "That’s all I’m asking. Just the one I asked you."
JENNINGS: "If you don’t have legal status to be here, if you came here illegally, if you’re in violation of U.S. Law, you should be deported."
PHILLIP: "So, again, so the answer is yes, you think that they should be arresting the spouses of U.S. Citizens who have pending applications to have their statuses — their statuses adjusted, which is a legal pathway that Congress allowed in the law?"
JENNINGS: "Well, I think the Trump Administration has a different view of how people are abusing our various systems. Obviously, they’ve gone to court over TPS. They think the asylum system is totally broken."
PHILLIP: "Scott, you’re saying a lot of things, but you’re not answering my question."
JENNINGS: "Yeah. I said, if you are here illegally and you’re in violation of any kind of U.S. law, you got a problem with ICE."
PHILLIP: "So that's a yes?"
JENNINGS: "You got a problem with ICE."
