MS NOW Panel: Impeaching Trump Is a ‘Bad Idea’ a ‘Major Mistake’

KASICH: “I completely agree with her. Right. And I think investigations are going to be part of it. But they also have to address these issues of affordability. And I think, Katie, the number one issue of affordability everybody is worried about is health care. And I would expect that they’re going to pass the renew those subsidies for health care to bring the cost of of those premiums down. I think that I think they’re probably going to, interestingly enough, probably try to talk about tariffs, the fact that it’s driving up prices and maybe they ought to be a little bit more focused. Maybe they’ll even come out with some ideas about a comprehensive immigration bill, which people I think would welcome. And then I think also they have an opportunity to do something with Republicans if they are willing to try to begin to seize power back from the executive Branch and restore it to the legislative Branch. So I think right now they talk impeachment because they want to keep the fundraising going. But at the end, I think it would be a major mistake. And, Katie, I had Leon Panetta on, on my on my radio show, and he and I reached an agreement to go down and talk to the whoever the next speaker is about trying to move the country forward in a more bipartisan way.”
