BAKER: “Yeah. And the whole foundation of democracy is faith in the system, right? Is that we believe that the results that we’re seeing from our our government fairly and accurately reflect the will of the voters as expressed in an election. And I think that now we’ve got to the point where the very credibility of elections is at stake, even though there’s no evidence to suggest that it should be. And I think that that’s that’s deleterious, obviously, to the functioning of A government that has to govern with the consent of the government, because people don’t accept it. How many Republicans to this day say that President Biden was never, you know, legitimate election? I’m sure elected. I’m sure there are Democrats who think that President Trump wasn’t legitimately elected. That’s not healthy in A democracy.”
