AG Letitia James: The U.S. Postal Service and POTUS Don’t Have Jurisdictions Over Elections, States Do
EXCERPT:
JAMES: “The confusion is exactly that. And it’s nothing more than a distraction, a distraction from the cost of living, the distraction from the price at the gas pump, a distraction from this economy, the distraction from inflation, a distraction from this war, a distraction from so many issues, this mass deportation effort. And the fact is, is that at the end of the day, it’s important that individuals understand when it comes to our election, it is up to the states. It is clear in our Constitution. And that is why states, Democratic state attorneys general will continue to use the law to challenge this rule and to challenge this administration. We recognize the importance of the right to vote and from which all other rights emanate. And we will ensure that individuals vote by ballot, and particularly those in military force.”
