NBFA Pres. John Boyd: We Are Losing Our Farms at Home, and the President Is Concerned About Farmers and the Beef Deal in Argentina
‘We can‘t afford to take a 25% reduction in price because the president wants to do some side deal in Argentina’
EXCERPT:
BOYD: “It's time to look at a different direction in this country for agriculture because the president has just taken so many farmers out of business. We're losing 77 farmers, many of them cattlemen like myself, every day in this country. And this administration has not put a farm moratorium in place. And I've been on your show before talking about how that farm moratorium would help. So here we are losing our farms at home. And the president is concerned about farmers and a beef deal in Argentina. So I think this is very insulting to America's farmers here, right here at home.”
