LAWRENCE: “We have to put a stop to these, this mass surveillance. This is the most unamerican thing I can imagine. We have a strong history in this country of mistrust of arbitrary surveillance by big government and big business, but now we’re allowing this to happen for the sake of the profitability of a few companies. By the way, this is what some of the data centers are for, is digesting the massive amounts of surveillance data that they’ve collected on us over the last two decades through our phones and on the internet, and now through these cameras which are popping up on every street corner.”
