Sarah Matthews Says She Doesn’t Have Access to Her DMs with Natalie Harp After She Blocked Her
EXCERPT:
MATTHEWS: “And so that was how I knew her, was as a campaign surrogate. And I remember that she would DM me on Twitter all the time, and we hadn’t really even met, but, like, I would just get all these DMs from her that were very nice and praiseworthy. You know, she would see some quote that I had in some article defending the president, things like that, and it came off to me that she was just very eager to help the campaign and that she really wanted to ingratiate herself within Trump world and connect with people. And I think we might’ve met like once. It might’ve been at like the 2020 virtual convention But I really — like, I don’t — I think most of our correspondence was over Twitter DMs, but I actually don’t have access to the DMs anymore because she blocked me after I either — I don’t know if it was after I resigned on January 6th or if it was after I testified before the January 6th Committee, but I have since been blocked. And so, I do not have access to the DMs, but from what I remember that it was just her DMing me and it just came across that she was very eager and I — and I think that now it’s just really interesting to see her trajectory of she was able to break through and become part of Trump world and obviously rose the ranks fairly quickly to now be one of the president’s closest aides."
