Alan Dershowitz to Supreme Court: ‘Stay in Your Lane ... Don’t Try to Run the Country’

DERSHOWITZ: "And, you know, the president is right when he says he’s been too many capitals. I’ve been to many capitals, I’ve been to many capitals, I've been to many capitals, I've been to many equivalences of White Houses in Europe and Asia, and our White House didn’t compare in grandeur to some of the others and we're the most important country in the world, and I think President Trump was right to say, 'We have to make the White House the best and most important and most beautiful capital residence for a president or a prime minister of any in the world.' So I’m on his side on the merits, but more importantly, I am against the courts interfering in cases like this. We have checks and balances, separation of powers, and the Supreme Court is supposed to be the least dangerous branch, the judiciary, and they are becoming one of the most dangerous and activist branches. And as somebody who has objected to that, even when the shoe was on the other foot, I will continue to object whether it’s a Republican-dominated court or a Democrat-dominated court. Stay in your lane. Do what judges are supposed to do. Don't try to run the country."
