Matt Finn: Eric Swalwell Cooperating with FBI in Sexual Misconduct Probe After Devices Seized

‘Swalwell was cooperative during the airport encounter on Saturday and was not detained or arrested’

EXCERPT:

FINN: "Trace, a federal search warrant inventory shows investigators seized Eric Swalwell’s iPhone and MacBook at 8:25 Saturday night. Sources tell FOX that search happened at the San Francisco airport. And then on Sunday, the FBI seized electronics from Swalwell’s home in Washington, D.C.. Swalwell was cooperative during the airport encounter on Saturday and was not detained or arrested. The Swalwell search warrant was filed listing a federal statute that makes it a crime for an official to deprive another person of their constitutional rights. The FBI is not commenting about the searches, and we've reached to Swalwell's attorneys. Now, separately, Swalwell faces multiple allegations of sexual assault from several women, including Lonna Drewes, who claims Swalwell raped and drugged her at a West Hollywood hotel in 2018."
