CROWLEY: “And at the end of the day, we need to make sure that these data centers are paying their way. They need to earn their way into local communities, and they need to be held by strict guidelines and guardrails. As I’ve been hearing from voters all across this state. But unfortunately, that is not the exact same thing that my opponent believes in. He has voted to give $70 billion in tax breaks to Big Tech, and he also voted to allow data centers to steamroll these communities. And so, as the next governor, I’m going to make sure that the free ride that these tech companies have been getting no longer under a Carol Lee administration.”
