David Jolly Says Florida’s Republican Leadership Has Been Taking America Back Towards Slavery

JOLLY: “Whether your foundations are rooted in faith, or Jefferson's natural right to man, what we know is everybody deserves the economic liberty and the personal liberty that was at the foundation of the start of the nation. We got so much wrong. We got so much wrong at the beginning. People of color were three-fifths of a person. Women did not have economic or legal rights. But that arc of history bent towards progress. That arc has bent backwards in the last 8 years. And it's one of the reasons that people are asking for change.”
