PERRYMAN: “Look, I think this shows you exactly how at stake our democracy is, the fact that this is beyond traditional politics, and anyone that cares about voting and democracy in this country has to reject this type of extremism. But I also think that this becomes very messy for the president and his election denying allies. We haven’t seen as a country what would happen if someone like that was governor and tried to hold up an election system. There are other states in the country that don’t see it the way the president does that are not engaged in election denialism.”
