Caroline Sunshine: Trump Could ‘Leave This War Tomorrow’ and Americans Would Support Him

SUNSHINE: “You know. It‘s quite possible that it‘s going to have an effect in the midterms. The good news is, is the president could leave this war tomorrow and things would rebound and the American public would would love it. That‘s what Ronald Reagan did in 1983 after the Beirut bombing attacks. He just he just left. And as the president has said multiple times, he‘s won the war. So if we‘ve won, we we can leave. And I think that would be a great decision that a lot of Americans would support. But in the meantime, he can keep focusing on the other ways that life is expensive for Americans. And you saw him talk about today that prescription drug prices, for example, are down 60%, um, lowest they‘ve been in a long time. Um, also crime, you know, it‘s a good chance that the midterms are going to be about the cost of living the economy. Most elections always are, but elections are also about other bread and butter issues like law and order."
