Hylton on Trump’s America: ‘Wall Street Is Not the Economy,’ About 40% of Americans Don’t Even Own Stocks

‘Success there does not mean things are working for everyday Americans’

RUSH EXCERPT:
HYLTON: "Of course, Wall Street is not the economy. Success there does not mean things are working for everyday Americans, about 40% of whom do not even own stocks. And there’s lots of evidence that the country is not doing unbelievably. Today, we learned that last month showed the largest drop in consumer retail spending in over a year. People are spending less as the cost of living crisis shows little sign of abating. The country is also contending with a sluggish labor market and the highest national average gas price ever recorded this time of year. Meanwhile, the White House is using the opportunity to scapegoat immigrants."
