MOULTON: “There‘s nothing out of haig‘s mouth that can be considered credible. I mean, remember, this is the guy who lied about his own misuse of classified information. And if this wasn‘t a problem, they wouldn‘t be rushing to replace the ship. So clearly he‘s lying about the conditions. And you know, the other problem here is that it‘s just hard to keep up morale when the troops don‘t believe in the mission. And it‘s very hard for anybody, whether you‘re serving in the U.S. Military or simply watching what‘s going on from anywhere in the globe, to believe in what this administration is doing with Iran. This war has not just been a failure. It‘s totally backfired. Iran has more power, more control. That‘s why they can‘t go into port than they ever have before. That‘s got to be pretty disillusioning to the sailors aboard that ship.”
