Secy. Scott Turner: The Biden Administration Banned Money for Faith-Based Entities
EXCERPT:
TURNER: "So, during the Biden Administration, our faith-based entities and organizations that deal in the homelessness space, that help men and women and families on the streets, they’ve been doing this long before the federal government. And during the Biden Administration, they stiff-armed faith-based organizations, so now we are opening that door and getting faith-based entities back to the table because we’ve seen — I've traveled all around our country, I've been to almost 20 faith-based entities as it pertains to homelessness, and they are getting results. They are helping people, not just housing them but getting them treated, getting them transformed, putting an axe head to a roof for mental illness, drug addiction, families are coming back together, people are being healed, people are getting jobs and housing, being self-sustainable and self-sufficient. And so now faith-based entities will be coming back to the table because they do great work."
