TRUMP: “I’d like to be the next president. Because remember we have right now thousands of factories being built. They’re being built. And they’ll be opening over the next year, year and a half. And whoever the next president is, they’ll be standing up taking credit for what I accomplished. So people like you will remember. We have more auto plants being built right now than in the heyday of the automobile. We hadn’t had an auto plant built in 40 years, 40 years, many, many years we hadn’t had one auto plant. Now we have them built for numbers — during the heyday, they couldn’t compete with these numbers. Many other plants do. They’re all coming in. And that’s because of a few things. It’s because of the cut in taxes. But it’s really because of tariffs.”
