Scott Jennings: For the Rest of Trump’s Term, He’ll Continue to Face Security Threats

JENNINGS: “There‘s a reason that a press pool exists. But I just in my mind, I have to believe the threat level here was at, uh, a level of danger that required some extraordinary maneuvers. Uh, you know, this president, as you know, is not shy about being in front of the press. He often takes questions on the plane. You know, he‘s he‘s pretty, uh, visible to you guys. But in this particular case, it sounds like this was a warranted item. And honestly, for the rest of his term, I think he‘s going to continue to face this, whether it‘s the Iranians who I‘m sure would like to think of ways to kill him every day, whether it‘s domestic threats that he has already faced and could continue to face. I think this is just part of the reality of being Donald Trump, and that‘s very unfortunate. But I‘m glad for the security personnel who know how to deal with it.”
