Steve Moore: Even the Democratic Socialists Agree That Taxing the Rich Won’t Pay for Their Medicare-for-All Plan
EXCERPT:
MOORE: “Let's start with Medicare and Medicaid. They are what are driving the massive inflation in the health care system. Health care costs way, way too much in America today and it is being driven by these government programs. Why not move more to a private sector approach? And by the way, I think the health insurance -- I agree, the health insurance companies are ripping us off too. We need to completely move to health savings accounts where people are paying into the system but they're getting the health care that they need, because I can't even pay -- afford to pay our health care bill. Plus I have to, you know, pay into Medicaid and Medicare. So the system is screwed up. Government has made health care way, way too expensive in America. And the idea that you're going to pay for all of this by just soaking the rich, even these Democrat socialists agree they can't do it.”
