CNN’s Chalian: Majority of Americans Say Congress ‘Would Be for the Better If Most Members Were Replaced’

‘Now that‘s the kind of number that could potentially impact both parties, not just one’

EXCERPT:

CHALIAN: “This is a real big number in our poll. It's like a throw-the-bums-out election. Fifty-one percent, a majority of Americans in our poll say it would be for the better if most members of Congress were replaced. Now, that's the kind of number that could potentially impact both parties, not just one. And speaking of that, both parties are in low regard with the American people right now, about equally so. Look at the favorable numbers on the Republican Party and the Democratic Party. They sit at 31 percent and 30 percent favorable, respectively. They are each approximately 20 points underwater, Wolf. This is not an electorate that is happy with the system as it is.”
