Dem Rep. Garcia: Time and Again, Todd Blanche Has Given the Senate Reasons to Oppose His Nomination

GARCIA: “We join the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein that have been very clear that Todd Blanche should not be confirmed by the Senate. And what Senator Cornyn is doing right now is absolutely the right thing. He should lean in, he should not provide the vote, he should put the White House on notice, but he should also expand his reasoning as to why he should oppose this nomination. Half of the Epstein files, Wolf, have not been released to the public by Todd Blanche's own admission. By his own admission, he recognizes that his department has put the lives of survivors in danger by putting their public information out in the limited release that has happened so far. And so time and time again, Mr. Blanche has given clear reasons for the Senate, not just hopefully Senator Cornyn, but others to oppose the nomination.”
