BRENNAN: “Very concerning. They are visibly frightened to say anything that might, you know, irritate Donald Trump. Just the way, you know, a number of individuals who went up to the Hill this week, Jay Clayton and others, you know, refusing to acknowledge that Joe Biden won the election in 2020, it’s clear that they’re so intimidated. But where is their backbone? What has happened to the principles that used to undergird the Republican Party that used to be so focused on national security and doing everything possible to protect our national security? They’re giving it up. Someone like Senator Tuberville, you know, his comments. I mean, they’re just, you know, just so, so wrong. And that’s just from the standpoint of his official responsibilities.”
