Sec. Burgum Slams the Biden Admin Over D.C.’s Columbus Circle Fountain: Restoration Is a ‘180-Degree Change’ from What We Inherited

‘Eight acres of one of the largest pools likely, in the world’

EXCERPT:

BURGUM: "We’re the greatest country in the world. Let’s have the safest and most beautiful capital in the world. The projects are going on like the one that you discussed at Columbus Circle, complete 180-degree change from what we inherited in the Biden Administration, but that’s happened. That’s one of 22 fountains that are being restored. Over 48 monuments and statues being restored, re-gilded this. All the parks, triangle, circle parks around the city belong to the National Park Service. The team there has done incredible job. That’s part of the Department of Interior. But again, kudos to everything that everybody’s doing this. This city is going to look better than it ever has as we head into the celebration of the USA and the Freedom 250.”
