Steve Hilton: ‘Homeless Encampments’ Are Illegal But LA Mayor Karen Bass Won’t Enforce the Law

HILTON: “Well, on the homeless situation in la, just to be specific with Karen Bass, I’ve made it clear, the first step we have to take on homelessness is to enforce the law. All those homeless encampments, everything on your screen right now, it’s illegal. It’s always been illegal but they won’t enforce the law and I said that when I’m governor I will use state law enforcement resources, which I can do, to enforce the law and remove people and then get them into, like spencer was saying, into drug rehab and mental health treatment but you have to start by just realizing that everything we’re seeing on the streets is completely unacceptable, and if she won’t do it, I will a get it done.”
