LIESMAN: “This this is a terrible thing. It is. In my lifetime, they have passed the Voting Rights Act, and they’ve pretty much gotten rid of it. And this suppression, essentially, of the black vote, is an awful, awful thing to witness in America today. And I feel terrible about that, but not to make light of it. But I also feel bad for Steve Kornacki, my former colleague. How the hell is he going to tell us how this particular district is trending when this district never existed before? You know what? We’re going to be up really late at night.”
