Chris Hayes: ‘When a Bouncer 86’s a Drunk Customer, Do They Kill Them or Do They Just Get Them out of the Bar?’

‘In a sign of just how ludicrous the case is, here is how Fox News analyst Jonathan Turley reacted to the news’

EXCERPT:

HAYES: "U.S. Department of Justice has indicted former FBI Director James Comey for posting pictures of seashells online last year. The indictment reads, 'On or about May 15th, 2025, in the Eastern District of North Carolina, the defendant, James Bryant Comey jr., did knowingly and willfully make a threat to take the life of, and to inflict bodily harm upon, the president of the United States, in that he publicly posted a photograph on the internet social media site Instagram, which depicted seashells arranged in a pattern making out '86 47.' Here’s what Comey posted. It’s a picture of seashells arranged to spell out '86 47,' 47 seemingly a reference to Donald Trump’s second term. He captioned it, 'Cool shell formation on my beach walk.' Comey later removed the post, writing, 'I didn’t realize some folks associated those numbers with violence.' Think for yourself. When a bouncer 86's a drunk customer, do they kill them or do they just get them out of the bar?”
