Fmr. FBI Special Agent: Is the Secret Service Perfect? ‘No’ Is any Law Enforcement Officer Perfect? ‘No’

PARKER: "You know, as a former agent, I can tell you that when you are expected to put your life on the line every single day, that is a huge ask. Of course, that’s what you do, You take an oath, but yet at the same time, I think civilians need to respect that, you are looking at individuals who are willing to do that for complete strangers. It’s a very, very high-pressure job. Not not every agent comes home alive. Not every law enforcement officer comes home alive because they are willing to pay that ultimate sacrifice. But again, the Secret Service's mission is very, very particular. It’s a zero-fail mission and they are expected to protect the president of the United States of America, which, in my opinion, is the most powerful person in the world, especially right now. So these Secret Service agents work tirelessly, even in the government shutdown. Trey, they aren’t even being paid. They are out there working tirelessly. I believe that they are spread thin, but they are doing what they have to do. Are they perfect? No. Is any law enforcement officer perfect? No."
