PHILLIP: "Should Democrats have passively sat by as Republicans gerrymandered?"

WRIGHT: "Well, it's not that they actively sat by. They used to say, this is a threat to democracy, you don't get to choose your voters, it should be the other way around. I mean, Obama gave very compelling remarks on these things. And so was that a lie or — "

ALLISON: "No."

WRIGHT: "Okay. So it's okay to threaten democracy and — "

ALLISON: "But fact patterns change. Fact patterns change.”
