Dan Senor: ‘Widening’ Poll Gaps and Trump’s ‘Divisive’ Rhetoric a ‘Bad Way to Unify’ GOP

‘There are more and more Republican leaders saying we could loose 8 or 9 seats’

SENOR: "You have these crazy inflammatory, divisive things he's saying that is giving Republican leaders pause about unifying. So, bad polls and inflammatory rhetoric is a bad way to unify your party on the eve of a convention."
ROSE: "And giving Republican candidates for the Senate and the governor pause, too." [crosstalk]
SENOR: "Right. Because they are very concerned. I mean, obviously, in principle they're against what he's saying, and the collateral damage to Senate and House races right down the ballot. Now they're more and more concerned. You hear more and more leaders saying we could lose 8 or 9 Senate seats."
