HERTLING: “Yeah. Michael the first thing I’D say if if European allies especially, are reluctant to join into this, it’s usually a signal of a couple of things. The first is they don’t fully understand the strategic objectives. Neither do we. You know, truthfully, we’ve been debating this for the last three weeks. Secondly, they weren’t brought into the planning early. Thirdly, if you read well, the national security strategy that the White House put out about three months ago and the national defense strategy that the Pentagon put out about a month and a half ago, each one of those are they denigrate our allies.”
