HAGERTY: "We’re moving back in the right direction, bret. I’d be first to say that. I served in the appropriations committee. We’re move back to regular order. The problem is we’ve had obstructionism the entire time in the U.S. Senate. It’s sad that senator Schumer never wanted to bring bills to the floor. He wanted an omnibus package, a bill that is negotiated behind closed doors. Everybody hates that if they’re not in leadership. We’re moving back. Senator thune has said he would take us back and debate the bills and we’re moving that direction. I feel better we’re going to get there."
