AG Ellison: It Could Be Argued That Jonathan Ross ‘Wasn’t Psychologically Ready’ to Return to Engaging with the Public

‘There’s at least multiple interpretations as to what that piece of information means’

RUSH EXCERPT:
ELLISON: "I think there are. I think that this is extremely problematic as they make these comments, contradictory statements. But, you know, you mentioned this prior dragging incident that the that Jonathan ross was, was involved in and I guess, you know, offering that fact is not necessarily to his advantage. I mean, because it could be argued that he wasn’t psychologically ready to return engaging with the public. It could be different things, could be argued. But then putting that fact out there, I guess what I’m saying is that there’s at least multiple interpretations as to what that piece of information means. And so again, they want to put all this stuff that they think is self-serving, which is not necessarily to the advantage of Mr. Jonathan ross, but why don’t they just go back to a meaningful investigation? You know, what shocked me is I saw Tom homan talking good sense. Tom homan, who I have political disagreements with in things he’s said and done, is the one who’s saying we need to have an investigation. Leaders need to stop declaring the guilt or innocence because that’s a that’s a conclusory statement to make. We need to let the evidence go where it goes. He’s the one making responsible, professional comments. And I would urge the White House to follow his example and have an inclusive, thorough, independent investigation that leads to the truth. That’s all we’re looking for now."
