Michael Fanone: Dems and Their Leadership Don’t ‘Have the Backbone’ to Hold This Admin Accountable for Jan. 6th

FANONE: "I don’t believe in justice. I believe in accountability. I do not believe that there will be accountability for January 6th, or for the crimes committed by Donald Trump and his administration, both previously back in 2020 and 2021. And today, I believe that at best, you know, we may see the Democratic Party assume power in during the midterm elections. But I don’t believe that Democrats and their leadership today have the backbone or the fortitude to hold this administration accountable. And frankly, I don’t just blame them. I blame the American people, the same people that were indifferent to my experience and to the experience of my fellow law enforcement officers. On January 6th, 2021, remain indifferent today. And it’s that indifference that has allowed Donald Trump to assume power once again, and nothing in that regard has changed. You know, the American people are indifferent and and too many are cowards."
