REED: "Two things to watch this year, rich. And they are interrelated. Good policy equals good politics. Right now we are going to see a lot of the impacts of that one big beautiful bill that was debated behind us in Capitol Hill. It was a big point of contention in 2025. It passed thanks to the Republicans in Congress and thanks to the support of President Trump. Every single Democrat, every single one voted against that and that means they supported across the board tax hikes. I know it’s only January 1st, but April 15th is coming faster than we realize and people are going to soon see more money in their paychecks and make people feel better about the economy and Republicans jobs to connect that to the one big beautiful bill one party support and one party opposed. Secondly the democratic civil war right now, also democratic approval rating to say the democratic approval rating isn’t a seller does disservice to basements. So low it’s up recognizable and people are looking for more serious leadership right now than what the Democratic Party is offering. That’s the other part of the message that the Republicans have to prosecute in this year ahead."
