Yemisi Egbewole on the Economy: Dems Say, We’re Coming Up to One Full Year, ‘You Have to Blame Who’s Currently in Power’

EGBEWOLE: "I think that’s what Democrats keep harping on is that there is the promise of were you not promised security now. Prices can fall on paper ultimately what matters is how people feel about the prices. And people currently feel squeezed right now. And if you say we can fix it a quarter from now, two quarters from now, Democrats are just turn around and say but you came in and said you can fix it on day one. It’s promises made and for a lot of Democrats it’s promises not kept."

BAIER: "Yemisi obviously the Republicans say wait, wait, wait, what happened in your term. We are cleaning up. You heard the vice president the other day we are cleaning up the mess that you left behind that’s their retort."

EGBEWOLE: "Democrats are pushing back okay, maybe at the top of this we’re we would have accepted that and rolled over. But they are pushing bang and fighting a lot they are saying we are coming up on the end of one full year and at some point you have to blame who is currently in power right now."
