Jenna Bush Hager on Uncle Jeb: ‘He’s Doing Very Well’ Now (Mediaite)

During an appearance on The View, former First Daughter Jenna Bush Hagerwas asked by Joy Behar about how her uncle, Jeb Bush, has been doing since suspending his presidential campaign.

“He’s doing very well,” she said. “I’m sure he’s happy to be living a private life again.”

Later, Behar asked how she and her family viewed the current race for the nation’s highest office.

“The main thing is we want good people to run, so we don’t want to make the, you know, the anger or the bullying and — I hate to say it — but the back-and-forth so toxic that we get strong and smart people not to run. It worries me even for my kids sometimes.”
