MSNBC’s Hillyard: ‘Wild’ for White House to Claim Left Wing Organizations Are Behind Charlie Kirk’s Hit Without Evidence

HILLYARD: “That is that is a criminal organization that somehow is being deployed to take part in assassinations in protest. He calls these people agitators and somehow links them to the violent act that took the life of Charlie Kirk. It is wild to present that from the Oval Office with no evidence. And you have to go back to this part here. He’s taking what happened in Utah. And if folks will recall, he was at that restaurant in D.C. the other night when there were those for codepink protesters inside of the restaurant. He said in the same breath that those folks should be a part of this rico charge. So people that were demonstrating, not attacking him inside of a D.C. restaurant, he is linking to what is taking place in terms of the assassination of Charlie Kirk. I don’t know exactly what this looks like here, but I think it’s very clear the White House doesn’t either. All we do know is that he’s ordered the Department of Justice to go and try to seek charges of some sort.”
