Howard Dean: Gas Prices Have Gone Down ‘But Everything Else Has Gone Up’

DEAN: “Yeah. I mean, I think — I think that is a problem. But actually, Trump’s numbers on crime are not as bad as they are elsewhere. His big problem is exactly the problem that got him in the White House in the first place. He promised he was going to deal with inflation and prices, and the average American is getting creamed. Gas prices have gone down, but everything else has gone up. They can’t buy a house. They’re having trouble at the grocery store. And a lot of this is tariffs. And the credit goes to the business community for at least they may kiss his you-know-what in Washington. But at least they’re truthful about why their prices are going up. And it’s because Donald Trump has no idea how to run an economic country properly.”
