Joe Borelli on Mayor Adams’ Gang Mediation: ‘Gang Members Are To Be Met with Handcuffs,’ Not Cigars and Scotch
RUSH EXCERPT:
BORELLI: "Yeah. Gang members are to be met with handcuffs not tea and crumpets and cigars and scotch on the front porch. This isn’t a labor union you are bringing in to he negotiate with or a real estate developer. These are people who, for the most part committing crimes every single day and terrorizing the very neighborhoods, that said I will give the mayor a little credit, my favorite kind of Democrats are Democrats who go out there and prove that Republican policies are actually what will make cities safer. The mayor wants to flood The Bronx with 1,000 NYPD officers? Not only is that the right move, but I think there is a majority of people up in The Bronx in neighborhoods plagued with gang violence who would appreciate seeing more men and women in blue on their streets."
