Tom Homan on Chicago Mayor: ‘If He Doesn’t Want to Help, Get Out of the Way, We’ll Do It’

HOMAN: "It's just ridiculous. It's ridiculous. Like I just said, we took guns off the street that were fully automatic in the city of Chicago. That is a solution. We took child sexual predators, people who committed sexual crimes against children, off the streets of Chicago. That’s a solution. Taking public safety threats off the streets of Chicago makes Chicago safer. If he had one ounce of integrity, he would thank President Trump for making them safer. Every day ICE is taking thousands of criminals off the streets of this country, including Chicago. We have a big operation out there, it's continuing and it's about to get a lot bigger. You would think he would welcome the assistance. His number one responsibility is the safety and security of that city. If he’s not going to do it, President Trump is going to do it. I would think he'd be shoulder-to-shoulder with us, but it is disgusting that he’s not. But we're going to be there anyway. So if you don't want to help, get out of the way, we’ll do it."
