Klobuchar: If Children Getting Shot Through Church Windows Isn’t Enough to Move People that We Have to Make Some Changes, I Don’t Know What Is
EXCERPT:
KLOBUCHAR: "And I think that was one of the points that the mayor, who I‘ve talked to through the day and seen today, made this morning, was that these are everyone‘s kids, that, you know, your reaction, of course, is one of horror, and then you think, 'Well, my kid wasn‘t in that room,' or 'My kid‘s in a neighboring school,' but then you realize it could happen anywhere. And I‘ve been a long proponent of doing more on guns, from the time I was a prosecutor to now. And I don‘t know of anything, but these kids praying in a church, packed into the pews, joyful about their first week in school, their new teacher, and then getting shot through church windows, if that isn‘t enough to move people that we have to make some changes in this country, I don‘t know what is."
