Geraldo Rivera: ‘I’m Not Exactly Sure that Putin Was Seduced by Trump’s Charm’

‘I think that there’s some credibility to the notion that Trump is so charismatic’

EXCERPT:

RIVERA: “From his lips to God’s ears, Connell. I think that, if indeed, and I think that there is some credibility to the notion that Trump is so charismatic and so powerful right now that pleasing him is something that a leader might want to do. Putin as a former KGB agent, as a killer, as a guy who throws his rivals outside of airplane doors or off high balconies, I’m not exactly sure that Putin was seduced by Trump’s charm. And I just — and I, every time you show these close-ups, I’m reminded of the 20,000 to 40,000 Ukrainian children that this man has been responsible for kidnapping. Where are they? Are you going to give free passage on the Dnieper River that runs through Ukraine or are you going to really stop the murder that you’re inflicting on these civilians of Ukraine? I think that, you know, you’re dealing with this slippery eel there.”
