Kellyanne Conway: Dem Party Is Basically Some People from Wall Street, Some from Silicon Valley, Elite People Who Look Down on Everybody Else
EXCERPT:
CONWAY: "I would never advise them even hypothetically. No, because the Democratic Party I grew up in and a Democratic Party that once had Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump and so many others is gone. They are not the party of the worker, they’ve abandoned union members like the guys I grew up with, they’ve abandoned Hispanics and African-Americans and single moms like the one who raised me. They’ve just abandoned these different constituencies. You know what the Democratic Party basically is now? Some people from Wall Street, a lot from Silicon Valley, shrinking numbers, academia, universities, elite, effete people who look down on everybody else. The folks you are talking about, like J.B. Pritzker, the only relation he has to gardeners and landscapers and drivers and maids are people he employs. Look at Marco Rubio, the secretary of the state, mother was a made, father was a bartender. More and more, that represents the Republican Party. I have no advice for them except get a job in the private sector and appreciate capitalism a little more."
