Rep. Jasmine Crockett: Texas House Legislators Want to ‘Appease the Mad King’

‘They have decided that they would steamroll and disrespect their colleagues, as well as their constituents’

RUSH EXCERPT:

CROCKETT: "There is no crime. You already know this. And just so people understand, even the warrants that they put out for them, they are signed by the speaker of the House. I mean, this is not a law, a law enforcement official. This is not a judge. This is not a prosecutor. This is no one who soever would normally sign off on a warrant. And that is because it is not a criminal warrant. This is only giving license to someone who is found within the state of Texas, to then grab them and take them back to the chamber. If they take them anywhere other than the chamber, then they are looking at a civil rights violation because they have not broken any laws. So this is just a matter of a civil situation. And frankly, this is a family situation as far as I’m concerned, because basically, the family known as the legislators in the Texas house have decided that they don’t want to come to the table and have a conversation about doing right by Texas. They have decided that they would steamroll and disrespect their colleagues, as well as their constituents."
