GOP Rep. McClain on Redistricting Fight: We’re Just Playing by Rules the Democrats Set Forth

MCCLAIN: “I could talk about this forever. What's good for the goose is good for the gander. The problem with the Democrats is we're playing by the same rules that they set. I mean, take a look at Illinois, the state of Illinois. You want to tell me that that state's not gerrymandered? It's clear that Republicans are underrepresented in Congress. Let's take a look at the state of Massachusetts. Forty percent of that state votes Republican. How many representatives do they have? Zero. So President Trump is bold. President Trump is aggressive. And you're doggone right. He is going to get proper representation. And he's just playing by the rules that the Democrats set forth.”
